This policy explains what personal information InDish collects when you use our website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. If you have any questions, email us at info@indish.uk.

Who we are

The information we collect

• When you book a table: your name, phone number and/or email address, party size, and anything you add in the notes (for example allergies or requests).
• When you apply for a job: your name, contact details and the information you choose to send us.
• Automatically: basic technical information needed to serve the page, and — only if you accept cookies — analytics and advertising information (see "Cookies" below).

How we use it, and our lawful basis

• To manage your booking and contact you about it by email or text: to perform our agreement with you and for our legitimate interest in running the restaurant.
• To handle job applications: to take steps at your request before any employment, and our legitimate interest in recruiting.
• To measure and improve our advertising using the Meta (Facebook) Pixel: only with your consent, which you give by clicking "Accept" on our cookie banner.

Cookies & similar technologies

Essential / functional (always on). We store your cookie choice, and a short-term counter that helps stop spam submissions, on your device. These are not used to track you and are not shared.

Marketing (optional, off until you accept). The Meta (Facebook) Pixel loads only after you click "Accept". It sets Meta cookies and sends Meta information about your visit and certain actions (such as viewing the site or making a booking request) so we can measure and improve our Facebook and Instagram advertising. The provider is Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. We also use Google Analytics (a Google tag) to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it; it also loads only after you accept, and sets Google cookies. The provider is Google Ireland Ltd. You can decline, and you can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser cookies for this site (which brings the banner back).

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted service providers who process data on our behalf:

• Our booking & records system — securely stores your booking and enquiry details.
• Our email & SMS providers — send your booking confirmations by email and text, and host our info@indish.uk mailbox.
• Our website hosting provider — serves this website.
• Meta Platforms Ireland (Facebook & Instagram) — advertising measurement via the Facebook Pixel (only if you accept cookies).
• Google Ireland (Analytics & Ads) — website analytics and advertising measurement (only if you accept cookies).

We do not sell your personal data. Some providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, appropriate safeguards are in place.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and enquiry records only as long as we need them to manage your booking and for our ordinary business records, and then delete them. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its use, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email info@indish.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version.
